Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

To eliminate any doubt, this role involves reading, viewing, listening, and examining user-generated content to ensure they comply with community guidelines. Content includes images, videos, and text related to everyday life, but they can also include (but are not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.

What will I be doing?
  • Responsible for undertaking search-side campaigns proposed by different projects; improving the user's search experience for such activities in search and expanding the user's search demand for content.
  • Optimize cooperation standards and strategies based on different types of activities in certain regions.
  • Dig into the demands of each type of content in different regions and explore ways to improve search-related metrics.
  • Conduct basic surveys or analyses on specific data to assess performance and expression.
  • Find potential opportunities and risks through daily work and suggest improvement.
  • Additional compatible and related responsibilities which are not necessarily listed above.
  • Willing to work with sensitive issues that include child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, and adult & sexual content.
  • Your ability to work in a high-tempo environment, adapt, and respond to the day-to-day challenges of the role.
  • Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.
Qualifications
What should I bring with me?
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and English are required as it is the working language.
  • Knowledge about search engines, TikTok, and familiarity with similar apps are preferred. Candidates with at least two years of experience in the IT industry would be favored.
  • Familiar with common software and the SOP of events online in social apps.
  • Have a great sense of data analysis, especially for complicated business matrices.
  • Has an in-depth understanding of local culture and familiarity with the local users' habits.
  • Has brilliant judgment when encountering unsure cases and feedback timely and adequately.
