Senior House Officer full-time positions available at Te Whatu Ora
(Nelson Marlborough) at Nelson and Wairau Hospital.
Wairau Hospital is situated at the Top of
the South in close proximity to the Charlotte Sounds, Picton (ferry to
Wellington), Kaikoura, 2 hours to Nelson, and 4 hours to Christchurch. Wairau
Hospital is a brand new hospital amongst a vineyard filled, high sunshine area

Nelson Hospital is also situated at the Top
of the South in close proximity to the Abel Tasman National Park, 2 hours to
ferry to Wellington, 2 hours to Blenheim, and 5 hours to Christchurch. Nelson
Hospital is a larger hospital with Registrars in most specialities. Nelson
is also in a high sunshine part of the South Island with access to a high
number of outdoor activities such as paddleboarding, sailing, mountain biking, hiking

Positions are suitable for PGY2
and above and you will need to be eligible for general or provisional general
registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You will also need
to meet Immigration New Zealand requirements to be eligible to live and work in
New Zealand.
Te Whatu Ora staff must have completed their primary course
of two NZ approved COVID-19 vaccinations as they have direct contact with
patients and members of the public.
