We are a well established electrical appliances manufacturer distributing its products worldwide. The company consists of an office in Hong Kong and a production plant in China. We are looking for high caliber candidates to fill the following position.
Responsibilities :
Execute all regular purchasing duties, e.g. PO issuing, Order processing, Price negotiation, Sourcing, Vendor audit etc.;
Monitor the service, quality, price, on-time delivery and reliability of the suppliers;
Co-ordinate with operation departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work;
Source for new materials, replacement goods, suppliers when the need arises;
Handle and responsible for monthly report and presentation to management;
Be responsive to special care and short lead time requirements to ensure the timely completion and availability of materials and services;
Acts as liaison between receiving, accounting, buyers, vendors and distribution personnel Requirements :
N ot less than 3 years of Work Experience;
Higher Diploma or above in Purchasing & Supply Management, Business Administration or equivalent disciplines with preferable 3-5 years of relevant experience in electronic manufacturing sector;
Familiar with procurement of various materials including but not limited to elect/mech parts;
Proficiency and experience in Microsoft Office, SAP;
Good problem solving, analytical skills and numerical ability;
A team player with good communication skills with internal and external parties;
Detail oriented, with strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, integrity, positive attitude;
Solid experience in PRC factory environment is an advantage;
Able to lead and motivate a team of China subordinates;
Candidates with less experiences will be considered as Purchasing Supervisor;
Stationed in Dongguan plant is a must
