MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is a not-for-profit 400-bed community teaching hospital located in the White Marsh area of eastern Baltimore County. MedStar Franklin Square is dedicated to providing superior emergency care. We see more than 108,000 emergency patients annually, making us the busiest Emergency Department in the state of Maryland.
The first of its kind in Baltimore County, the Pediatric Emergency Department and Inpatient Unit at MedStar Franklin Square, with an ER volume of 24,000 patients annually, features 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a week staffing by a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician or an experienced! Pediatrician. The specially designed unit allows us to care f! or patients in a child-friendly environment with increased nursing flexibility, which allows pediatric nursing care for both emergency and admitted patients.
We are currently recruiting a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician, or a Pediatrician with a strong interest in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to work in both our Pediatric ER and our Inpatient Unit (9) beds. Our physicians work 80% in our Peds ER and 20% in our inpatient unit.
