Description: ResCare is employing Infant and Toddler Speech-Language Pathologist (CR) right now, this position will be assigned in Delaware. Services are provided in natural environment. Speech Language Pathologi! st would be joining a multi-disciplinary practice.
Schedules visits with families on caseload in the natural environment to implement the IFSP.
Provides speech therapy to infants and instructs caretaker/family.
Keeps notes on visits and progress on IFSP goals.
Performs assessments of assigned caseload if required.
Writes reports and progress notes according to outlined procedure and submit reports within required timelines.
Coordinates child’s program with other team members for the purpose of achieving uniformity of goals. Refers questions that should be addressed by physician/primary medical facility regarding student’s medical needs to coordinator/supervisor for follow-up.
Requirements
Master’s degree in speech, plus licensure in speech language pathology by the State Board of Audiology and Speech Pathology, ASHA certification, and experience with the pediatric population necessary.
Co! mplete early childhood training/certification standards requir! ed by service contract.
Must possess strong organizational skills and have transportation to provide services at multiple sites.
