ABOUT THE ROLE:
As our Mill Team Leader, you will be supervising Mill Hands in the manufacture of palletised compound stock food in and around the Morrinsville Site. This includes:
- Ensuring the mill is maintained in a safe efficient manner as per the Operator preventative maintenance schedules
- Assisting the Operations Manager with supervisory tasks
- Overseeing the work of employees to ensure operations are efficient and effective
- Ensuring raw materials are available as required, product is stored appropriately and all associated documentation is completed
- Ensure all staff and contractors are trained in, and adhere to, Health and Safety requirements
ABOUT YOU:
You will be our ideal candidate if you have:
- A proven ability to lead, inspire, motivate and empower others to achieve business and organisational goals
- Proven skills in safely operating heavy machinery in confined spaces
- A full NZ Drivers License and Forklift (OSH and F Endorsement preferred however if you don't have these, we can help support you in getting them)
- Effective time management skills including the ability to juggle priorities to meet requirements
- An ability to think quickly on your feet, offering quality solutions and identifying opportunities for improvement
In order to meet the operational requirements of this role, we require you to be flexible with working hours.
