Job Overview:
The Human Resources Intern will assist the Human Resources Officers/Manager with a variety of tasks related to HR operations. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is interested in pursuing a career in human resources and wants to gain hands-on experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including background checks and new hire paperwork
- Assist with employee file maintenance and organization
- Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
- Participate in training and development programs
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Psychology or Human Resources
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week
- Preferably with a laptop and stable internet connection since the nature of the job is home-based
