Key responsibilities shall include - Accounting and Financial Reporting:
1. Implement the internal accounting system for recording all transactions and preparation of management and regulatory reports
a. Prepare all payables for payment and bills for revenue collection
b. Track and monitor financial transactions
c. Review completeness and accuracy of reimbursements and expenses
d. Review financial records, documents, and information to ensure their accuracy for recording
e. Perform account reconciliations and report and financial discrepancies, errors to the Finance Manager.
f. Investigate and resolve all inquiries on processed transactions
g. Updating and maintaining the database, financial records, and filing systems
h. Assists in posting journal entries into the accounting software and manual reports
2. Ensures timely and accurate preparation and submission of financial reports and tax forms to the relevant regulatory entities and stakeholders
3. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
4. Prepare necessary schedules for external audits.
5. Performs other financial activities as required.
Skills and knowledge required:
1. Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably CPA with at least 3 years related experience, preferably from auditing/accounting firms.
2. Knowledgeable in the Philippine Financial Reporting Standards and Taxation
3. Knowledge and ability in the use of a computer and software applications (Microsoft
Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
4. Keen attention to details, quick and accurate data entry
5. Analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Good communication abilities, flexible in dealing with people with different personalities
7. Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
8. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
9. Must have high level of professionalism and integrity
10. Can work with minimum supervision, under pressure with very minimal error
