Job Description:
- Get all supplies from Steward or Pantry and set-up all mise-en-place in the proper places on each table of the restaurant. See to it that all cutleries are neatly aligned and clean, glass wares are spotless and salt pepper shakers are filled and clean.
- Set his assigned tables and ensure that his service area is well-stocked, set-up any special displays that maybe used for a particular meal period.
- Study the menu and familiarized one's self with the specialties and out of stock items and practice suggestive selling.
- Greet guest and help Captain Waiter seat guest, distribute menu cards, fill water glasses, take cocktail orders, serve cocktails, allow ample time for menu decisions to be made, take orders, answer questions about menu items and make suggestions about dishes and wines if the guest so desire.
Qualifications:
- At least second year college
- Atleast 5'4 in height for Female and 5'7 in height for Male.
- With at least one year experience as a waiter/waitress
- Must have a good communications skills us know how to speak, read and write English.
- With pleasant personality, well mannered and well groomed.
- Must be a good team player.
