Contract Representative- Remote [United States]


 Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.

The Contract representative is responsible for delivering administrative and/or other basic business services for Medicare Contracts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Review and accurately process incoming New Business applications from agents within the established time service standards.
Review and analyze implementation materials to create documents for new and existing business.
Prepare written correspondence to applicant regarding status of contracts.
Analyze benefits to ensure they are in compliance with legislation, then load benefits into system.
Research, coordinates information, and respond to questions from internal partners and/or external clients.
May be the first point of contact from customer to resolve issues.
Identify process improvements for own cases.
Negotiate deliverables with internal partners.
May audit accounts to determine compliance with specific mandates.
Prepare written correspondence to applicant regarding status of contracts.
Maintain detailed knowledge of company products and New Business procedures.
Strong writing ability, communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum Qualifications:
6+ months related experience, or equivalent combination of education experience
Knowledge of state specific requirements for Medicare supplement plans
Healthcare knowledge experience required.
Good knowledge and understanding of Contracts and business/operating processes and procedures
Data entry experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 18 - 27 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
