To keep pace with the changing health care environment and build a healthier future for our children, Nemours has embarked on a multi-phase expansion to create a children’! s hospital like no other in the region. Upon completion in Jun! e 2014, the hospital will include private patient rooms, a new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and a new expanded Emergency Department.
Inventory Clerks are responsible for the putaway of all inventory supplies, processing of all supply and par requisitions, and daily delivery of requisitioned supplies to the departments. Inventory Clerks also perform regular cycle counts to maintain accuracy, identify potential problems and maintain an organized, safe and secure enviroment.
Provide assistance in the receiving and putaway of all incomming inventoried supplies.
Process all supply and par requisitions in an accurate and timely manner.
Deliver all supplies to the requisitioners quickly and accurately.
Confirm requisition status for all walk-down orders to ensure allocation quantities exist.
Accurately process and file all paperwork associated with all par and requisitioned supplies.
Participate in reqular cycle count! s of inventoried supplies.
Promptly communicate any issues involving inventory to the Inventory Buyer or the Materials Management Supervisor. These issues include (but are not limited to) shortages, unit of measures, shelf labels, accuracy and expirations.
Provide support to other areas within the department when needed or as directed.
Regular attendance is required.
Work hours: Must be very flexible and available to work a rotating schedule with varying shifts.
