Nurse Practitioner - (NP) Locum Tenens

Facility in southwest! Delaware is currently seeking Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants. The Advanced Practitioner will work 3 days a week in a facility which sees approximately 40 patients per day. Responsibilities include seeing patients with minor illnesses, bumps, bruises, colds and coughs.
A nurse practitioner (NP)(locum tenens) is a registered nurse (RN) with specialization in a specific area of medicine, such as family medicine or pediatrics. A nurse practitioner has completed a master’s program in nursing and has earned board certification in a chosen specialty. An NP is able to provide a wide range of medical services, from conducting physical examinations and taking down patient history to performing more complex procedures such as bone marrow biopsies.
