General Description:
Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Part time Senior Medical Assistant for Primary Care Office Practice.
Primary Function of this role are to assist children and adult patients through their visit while working with nursing and clerical staff to provide a smooth, organized and efficient office flow. Responsibilities include
Front office Reception, Patient registration,Insurance verification, filing, Schedulig appointments by phone. All back office duties including Assisting Nursing staff and Physicians during Patient visit, procedures and medication administration
Requires include: High School diploma or equivalent. Certificate of completion of a medical assistant training program, degree preferred.
Two years office experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
This is a part time position 40 hours bi-weekly. Scheduled ho! urs include day shift and some early evenings. Must be flexibl! e with days and hours scheduled.
