To keep pace with the changing health care environment and build a healthier future for our children, Nemours has embarked on a multi-phase expansion to create a children's hospital like no other in ! the region. Upon completion in June 2014, the hospital will in! clude private patient rooms, a new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and a new expanded Emergency Department.
The Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, a multi-specialty, full-service teaching hospital, is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join the faculty of the Division of Emergency Medicine. Candidates must be board-eligible or certified in Pediatrics Emergency Medicine. Faculty appointment is available at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University commensurate with level of experience and current status. The Division currently has fifteen physicians. This is a rapidly growing division with approximately 38,000 visits per year and is a level II trauma center. Opportunity exists for the position to be more clinically focused or more academically focused. Teaching of TJU medical students, Jefferson-duPont residents and a well-established pediatric emergency fellowship program are strong divisional points. Salary and benefits are highl! y competitive.
