to join the CICU team at this leading childrenÂ's hospital located in the
Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. This opportunity is for a Pediatric Nurse
Practitioner to work in the 14 bed cardiac intensive care unit as well as the 16
bed step down unit at the Cardiac Center of this leading childrenÂ's hospital
that is dedicated to the challenges of pediatric heart disease and its
treatment.
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the CICU is
a clinical specialist who provides family-centered direct and indirect care in
the inpatient, ambulatory and outpatient settings for patients with congenital
or acquired heart disease.
Responsibilities include performing admission assessments, evaluating and
documenting patient progress, revision of plans of care when indicated and
providing patient/family education.

Qualifications:
MSN, required; previous cardiac experience, required; current RN license in the state of Delaware or Pennsylvania, required; current Advanced Practice Nurse license in t! he state of Delaware or PA, with or without prescriptive authority, required; current acute care certification, preferred.
