Upon completion in June 2014, the hospital will include private, family-centered, technologically advanced patient rooms, a new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and a new expanded Emergency Department.
Responsibilities:
Due to a significant growth and development in our outpatient program we are seeking to fill a full-time PTA position for our hospital location. This position will share patient care responsibilities between both our outpatient therapeutic services clinic and the Center for Sports Medicine at Nemours/AI duPont Hospital for Children. Candidates must demonstrate experience and ability to work in a pediatric setting with children ages 0 â€" 18 yrs of age. Strong orthopedic background and experience with adolescent sports injuries. Good communication and team work skills a must. Large multidiscipline staff with mentoring and specialty skill development opportunities. State of th! e art facility that includes aquatic programming.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Delaware state license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Member of professional specialty organizations (APTA, Delaware PT Assoc.) preferred.
