Nemours is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our team in Delaware As one of the nation’s premier pediatric health care systems Nemours provides worldclass clinical care in four states â€" Delaware Florida New Jersey and Pennsylvania Located in Wilmington Delaware the NemoursAlfred I duPont Hospital for Children offers intensive and acute inpatient and outpatient services covering more than 30 pediatric specialties Ranked among the nation’s best in pediatric specialty care by US News World Report this worldrenowned teaching hospital has served children from 42 states and 14 nations Extending the worldclass care of the duPont Hospital for Children the Nemours Children’s Clinic provides expert care for even more children across the Delaware Valley through communitybased physician services and collaborative partnerships with health and hospital systems To keep pace with the changing health care environment and build a healthier future for our children Nemours has embarked on a multiphase expansion to create a children’s hospital like no other in the region Upon completion in June 2014 the hospital will include private familycentered technologically advanced patient rooms a new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and a new expanded Emergency Department The QA Analyst’s role is to develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for the information security services within the organization This individual will gather and analyze data in support of information security regulations project coordination and systems requirements This will include writing test plans and scripts for tracking security gaps and fixes in product development software application development information systems and operations systems The QA Analyst will apply proven analytical and problemsolving skills to help validate IT processes through careful testing in order to maximize the information protection benefits Responsibilities 1 Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications products andor enhancements to existing applications throughout their developmentproduct lifecycles as it relates to information security 2 Prepare and deliver reports recommendations or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in IT systems and projects across the organization 3 Work with vendors and consultants to bridge gaps between regulations and information security practices 4 Conduct internal assessment to measure and assure adherence to established information security standards 5 Coordinate and assess effective document management for information security as a function of software development application integration and information system performance 6 Establish and maintain effective document management for policies standards process and procedures 7 Assist in the development of change control processes practices and guidelines for new and existing technologies 8 Work closely with all groups to establish and maintain consistent integration with information security principles 9 Proactively identify opportunities to improve the quality of reporting and usability of that information Additional Responsibilities 1 Continually learn actively share knowledge and foster exchange of skills 2 Promote and foster a team oriented working environment 3 Consistently provide feedback and analysis to team 4 Interacts with other teams with respect and courtesy 5 Familiarity with QA and physical security best practices Any other duties as assigned by management An Associates Degree is required as well as at least 3 years of prior experience Technical certifications like CISSP Security+ GCIH GCIA etc are preferred Performance Skills 1 Excellent team and interpersonal skills 2 Excellent communication skills 3 Ability to function in a collaborative and collegial environment 4 Ability to communicate with and understand the needs of nontechnical internal clients 5 Strong technical background partnered with analytical thinking Nemours an equal opportunity employer is committed to focusing on the bestqualified applicants for our openings Don’t miss out on important health care news and updates from Nemours â€" connect with us onhellip Facebook (Fan Page) wwwfacebookcompagesNemours90523951091refts YouTube wwwyoutubecomuserNemoursUpdates Twitter wwwtwittercomnemours Flickr wwwflickrcomphotosnemours
