The Radiation Oncology Department is currently seeking a Casual highly motivated and experienced Radiation Therapist that will provided quality care to our patients.
The office hours may flex between 8-10 hour shifts. Applicants will be primarily working day shift with no weekends and holidays required. The main office location will be at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center. However; applicants could possibly rotate to different office locations between our Christiana, Wilmington, and other satellite office locations as well.
As a Radiation Therapist, you will need to provide radiation treatment to patients as prescribed b! y the physician according to established standards and practic! es. You must demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including knowledge of growth and development, the ability to obtain and interpret information to identify patient needs, and to provide the care needed.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of an appropriate school of Radiotherapy is required
- Board certification in Radiation Therapy Technology required.
- State of Delaware licensure as Radiation Therapy Technology required.
