To keep pace with the changing health care environment and build a healthier future for our children, Nemours has embarked on a multi-phase expansion to create a children’s h! ospital like no other in the region. Upon completion in June 2! 014, the hospital will include private, family-centered, technologically advanced patient rooms, a new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and a new expanded Emergency Department.
The Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children (AIDHC), an affiliate of Jefferson Medical College, is beginning recruitment for a fellow for its ACGME-accredited Pediatric Radiology Fellowship for the 2014-2015 academic year. While primarily recruiting for the 2014-2015 academic year, oustanding applicants will be considered for the 2013-2014 academic year.
Located in Wilimington, Delaware approximately 27 miles south of Philadelphia, AIDHC is an approximately 200-bed dedicated pediatric academic quartenary referral medical center. The hospital, which is already one of the largest pediatric healthcare institutions in the region, has recently begun an expansion that will make it truly state-of-the-art.
Our pediatric medical imaging department is a sub-specialized academic d! epartment that includes pediatric body imagers, as well as dedicated pediatric neuroradiologists and interventional radiologists. We perform state-of-the-art pediatric imaging, including functional MR Urography, MR enterography, fetal MRI and Neuro MR, as well as handle a large volume of general pediatric imaging.
Our faculty is also involved in research and has presented at national meetings and has published in national radiology journals. It is our hope that potential candidates would also share such an interest.
