About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
We have a sought-after opportunity for a values driven, curious thinker to support our regional store network across multiple brands on a 6 month fixed term basis. If you are looking for a project role, in-between jobs, planning an extended holiday/OE or wanting to gain valuable HR generalist experience in a large organisation without the long term commitment, this role will be perfect for you.
As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through business partnering with regional leaders and team members across our store network. You will be relied on as the trusted advisor for your region and will work with store and regional management to provide sound commercial and practical HR advice on a range of employee-related matters, such as employment relations, performance management, absence management, talent management, succession planning, engagement, change management and learning and development.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain further experience and to take ownership across your own portfolio area across our stores network, you will truly influence and be a champion on change.
About You | Mōu
The work can be stimulating and challenging yet extremely rewarding, so we need someone who is passionate about people and resilient with a yearning to learn.
- Previous HR Advisory experience is essential and looking for your next step into a business partnering role (retail experience would be a bonus)
- Previous end to end employment relations advisory experience is essential
- Ability to multitask and be flexible and adaptable to different situations
- A natural and confident collaborator who can build trust and influence at a senior level
- Customer centric with a growth mindset
- A passionate coach
- Exposure to union bargaining, is an advantage but not essential
- Strong commercial and business acumen
