Regional Technical Trainer Middle East & Africa
What's it all about?
- You are responsible for OMICRON Academy’s customer training in the region
- You develop our external Certified Training Partners Network
- You propose regional & global goals and a strategy to achieve them
- You cooperate with the global Academy Management Team to further develop the OMICRON Academy
- You gather, channel and consolidate regional training needs
- You work with Product Management & Academy Marketing to develop training courses
- You manage the adaptation of training courses to local needs and languages
- You define resources and provide the tools needed for regional training centers

In addition to the RTM position, you are willing to support the team in your local office with local trainings and/or Application Engineering Support (up to 50% depending on the time required for the RTM responsibility, which has clear priority):
- You conduct customer training courses
- You support customers with technical expertise
What are we looking for?
- You have a professional technical education in electrical engineering
- You have practical experience in power systems protection and/or high voltage
- You have experience in running training courses
- You are well organized and interested in standardizing & optimizing processes
- You are motivated, open and proactive, take initiatives and push your ideas
- You like working in an international environment with different cultures
- You are willing to undertake travel (up to 50% of time) in the MEA region
- You have a very good command of written and spoken English and Arabic, written understanding of an additional language is a plus
