Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian with 2 years of experience as a pediatric clinical dietitian for a full time position at AI duPont Hospital for Children, a pediatric teaching hospital in Wilmington, Delaware.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in pediatric critical care nutrition. Certification in nutrition support (CNSC) and/or certification as a specialist in pediatric nutrition (CSP) preferred.
Responsibilities include nutrition assessment, intervention and multidisciplinary care to patients in the pediatric intensive care unit and neonatal intensive care unit.
The selected candidate will work independently with minimal supervision within the critical care environments. Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills are needed to be successful in this position.Provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
